THE WHALE SHARKS : A Shark Species Studied & Protected by A Belgian Biologist, Stella DIAMANT
Whale Sharks, as SHARK RESEARCH Opal & Silver Coasts (EU) regularly says, is as important as every kind of Shark for the health of oceans, from the smallest Shark to the biggest one, this one.
Stella DIAMANT, born in Bruxelles, BELGIUM, after her graduation in Biology, set up a project named "Madagascar Whale Shark Project", because of the degrading state of the shark conservation status. Her goal is twofold : 1/ to study the Whale Sharks, 2/ to educate and to sensitize local decision- or politiy-makers.
